More than 450 attendees gathered at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, D.C., from March 22–25 for TEI’s 65th Midyear Conference. Members and nonmembers alike had access to more than thirty educational sessions covering a wide range of topics, including “Effectively Managing Flexible Work Arrangements: Measures for Success,” “Building and Maintaining a High-Performance Team,” “Subchapter C Developments,” and “BEPS: The Continuing Saga.”
Keynote speakers Lily Batchelder, deputy director, National Economic Council; Grace Perez-Navarro, deputy director, Centre for Tax Policy and Administration, Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development; Robert Stack, deputy assistant secretary (international tax affairs), U.S. Department of the Treasury; and John Koskinen, commissioner, Internal Revenue Service, shared their insights and perspectives, as well as their support for the work of TEI and its members.
