We are pleased to announce that TEI’s board of directors has approved the addition of a Student Committee at the 2023 Annual Meeting of Members. This appointment recognizes the increasing importance of inspiring students to pursue careers in taxation and acknowledges the efforts of TEI’s student members to launch TEI’s inaugural International Tax Student Case Competition. Congratulations to Anne-Marie Nguyen, chair of the committee, and her vice chairs for their work on the Case Competition and to launch the TEI Students Instagram page.
The new Student Committee will hold regular meetings via Zoom to discuss issues of importance to students and younger members. We look forward to encouraging all tax students to get involved in these efforts.
