In early November, the Nebraska TEI Chapter hosted its eighth annual TEI Chapter Meeting. Nearly 150 professionals registered for the full-day event, and the chapter welcomed Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts to provide the opening presentation. The event included six additional sessions and a two-hour ethics session, allowing attendees to earn up to seven and a half hours for both CPE and CLE.
Speakers included nationally known representatives of various institutions and organizations: Rohit Kumar, PricewaterhouseCoopers; Stephen LaGarde and Aaron Grundman, Deloitte; Douglas Lindholm, Council on State Taxation; William Backstrom Jr., Jones Walker LLP; Lisa Zarlenga, Steptoe & Johnson; and Matt Lerner, Sidley Austin.
