TEI’s Pittsburgh Chapter recently hosted its Annual Federal/International All-Day Conference. This event is one of two major all-day programs the chapter holds each
year and complements a SALT program that took place in the fall. Attendees were treated to a full sit-down luncheon during which Deloitte, this year’s sponsor, presented a technology-focused program ranging across various topics related to tax reform and relevant guidance.
As in every previous year, the event was well attended. Deloitte presented a full-day program on GILTI, other topics related to the new international provisions, and accounting methods. Sessions focused on technical details as well as practical hands-on tips from Deloitte experts. The day’s program concluded with an always-popular update on ethics.
Attendees left the conference with armloads of new information and a good set of follow-up points to apply to their day-to-day challenges.
