From September 30 to November 20, TEI hosted its Federal Tax Course – Level 1 (Simulive Edition), a comprehensive virtual program designed to provide foundational knowledge and practical insights into federal taxation.

Tailored for tax professionals with five or fewer years of experience or those seeking to refresh their skills, the course delivered an engaging and interactive learning experience equivalent to in-person sessions.

Participants explored key topics in US taxation, including ASC 740-10 fundamentals, financial instruments and hedging, state corporate tax compliance, capitalization and inventory accounting rules, and an introduction to partnership taxation. The sessions featured world-class faculty, and the “simulive” format allowed attendees to interact with subject matter experts in real time via chat, earning up to thirty CPE hours. Recordings of the sessions were also provided for on-demand viewing.

TEI extends its thanks to all attendees and speakers for their participation in this course. By offering both foundational learning and practical tools, the Federal Tax Course – Level 1 continues to empower tax professionals to excel in their roles.
