In 2012, the TEI Detroit Chapter established a college scholarship program and is grateful to have had the opportunity to fund several scholarships each year since. The most recent scholarship was awarded to Jennifer Fowler, a senior majoring in accounting at the University of Michigan–Dearborn. Jennifer plans to sit for the CPA exam once she graduates. She currently works at Detroit Edison through the co-op program where she has gained professional experience and college credits while completing her degree.
TEI congratulates Jennifer for earning this scholarship and appreciates the efforts of the Detroit Chapter to give back to its local community and future tax professionals.
