Last December, the Austin Chapter held a luncheon to celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of the founding of the chapter. The chapter invited as many original members as possible to celebrate and reflect on the success of the chapter. Nine of the original members were able to attend and shared stories about the founding of the chapter and its evolution throughout the years. Even though some have moved out of in-house tax roles, they all encouraged chapter members to continue the work and enjoy the benefits of a tight-knit tax community in Austin.
