On August 26, the TEI Cleveland Chapter held its eighth annual scholarship golf outing. This event has grown every year, with thirty teams from seventeen firms participating this year. Proceeds fund scholarships for a master’s in taxation student at the University of Akron and undergraduate accounting students considering careers in tax at Cleveland State University, Kent State University, and Hiram College. For the first time, an Akron MTax student and TEI scholarship winner, Cruz Ward, was able to join the outing.
