Michelle Raskierwicz of the Dallas Chapter was honored with the nomination for TEI’s Meritorious Chapter Service Award for her efforts toward chapter development. Michelle has been a TEI member since 2007 and has served in many roles since, acting as chapter committee chair, treasurer, secretary, and finally in her current role as VP membership.
Michelle developed a new reservation system for all Dallas Chapter events, spending much of her personal time ensuring its functionality and usefulness for members. Award nominator, VP Programs Richard Pettigrew, said of Michelle’s vital contributions: “She has provided a constant positive attitude in implementing this system, although it has been very challenging and frustrating. She made sure our membership was served in personally explaining the system to every member that was having problems with the registration.”
