The TEI Atlanta Chapter hosted a half-day SALT CPE event early this summer. Joe Garrett, deputy commissioner of the Alabama Department of Revenue, and Frank O’Connell, general counsel and director of legal affairs and tax policy of the Georgia Department of Revenue, participated in a roundtable discussion. Other presenters included various representatives of PwC, including Barbara Coulter, state and local tax partner; Carrie Parker, mergers and acquisitions tax partner; Mark Siegel, director of state and local tax; and Steve Snyder, director of transfer pricing.
