The TEI Cleveland Chapter is saddened by the passing of Past President John Naughton in early February. Naughton was a graduate of West Tech High School in Cleveland and then went on to serve in the U.S. Army. After serving in the military, he graduated from the Ohio State University and the Cleveland Marshall College of Law. Naughton served as a tax attorney at Republic Steel Corp. and Dyke College as an administrator. His wife of forty-nine years, Jo Ann Rae, preceded him in death in 2005. He is survived by three children and five grandchildren.
TEI offers its condolences to Naughton’s family and honors his service to the Cleveland Chapter and the Institute.
